Privacy Policy

agostini.tech is an archived blog. It has no user accounts, comments, newsletter or contact forms, and it sets no cookies. This page explains the little data that is processed when you visit.
Who is responsible
Recursive d.o.o., Croatia, is the controller for this website. For any privacy question or request, email dejan@agostini.tech.
Hosting
The site is hosted by Vercel Inc., USA. To deliver pages and protect the site against abuse, Vercel processes technical request data: your IP address, the page requested, the date and time, your browser's user agent and the referring page. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Vercel may process this data in the United States; such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
Visit statistics (Umami)
To measure traffic we use Umami, an open-source tool we host ourselves on a server in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). Umami does not use cookies or any other identifiers stored in your browser, and it does not track you across other websites. It collects only aggregated data: pages visited, where the visit came from, device and browser type, country and approximate region. Your IP address is not stored; it is used only to calculate an anonymous daily identifier that cannot be linked to you. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in understanding how the site is used (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Because no cookies are used and no personal data is collected, this processing does not require your consent.
Umami runs on infrastructure provided by UpCloud Oy, Finland, in its Frankfurt data centre.
Your rights
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of personal data about you, ask us to restrict its processing, and object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Because the statistics are anonymous and we keep no other data about visitors, there is usually nothing we can link to you. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP).
